Welcome to Northwind Dog Boarding. A new facility in Nikiski Alaska.
My love of dogs has prompted me to open a new boarding facility following retirement from the Alaska oil and gas industry. With few, dog boarding facilities, in Nikiski and the need to transport, my dogs into Kenai or Kasilof I made the decision to construct and operate a new boarding facility in Nikiski and spend my retirement years surrounded by our furry friends.
Boarding Accommodations
Overnight dog boarding
I have a total of seven kennels. Sizes are 7'-6"x5'-0". Large enough for a single large dog or two medium size dogs. Bedding is provided if needed. Four kennels have access to an exterior dog run. All kennels have access to two, small, relieving areas on either side of the facility. I plan to construct a large play area, this summer, to allow for quality exercise and playtime. overnight dog boarding dog boarding and daycare
Dog Walking and Playtime
I offer daily dog walking and playtime services each day to keep your pup active and exercised. I live on a quiet street that allows me to walk each dog daily with a nature trail for those longer walks. I have leashes available.
Dog Bath
If you would like your dog bathed, prior to pick up, I have a bathtub available to give your pup a sudsy cleaning. A fee of $15 for small dogs, $20 medium sized dogs and $35 for large dogs will be applied.
Customized Care Plans
I understand that every pet is unique, and special needs may be necessary for older dogs and those on medications. I will ensure your care schedule is met, each day, and there are no interruptions in special needs for your pup.
Affordable Dog Boarding Rates
I believe that quality pet care should be affordable for everyone. That's why I offer competitive dog boarding rates. comparable to existing facilities servicing the Kenai Peninsula without sacrificing on the quality of care. I will treat your dog, as my own, when in my care.
